Miscellaneous Photos - Spring 2009

X-country skiing with the family in Washington.

Antagonizing Huck (already)

A little game of tug o' war.

Matthew LOVES Daddy's toothbrush.

"Say what?"

I'm a Jedi!

Cleaning in the nude is the best!

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas!
Not sure how I got this swirly bed-head, but who cares, let's open gifts!

So many say, "To Matthew." Wow, this is fun!

Ooh, twinkle lights are cool.

I think I'll just climb up here and dive in...

Oopsie!

Cool!

Neato - a Jack-in-the-Box, but with a monkey!

Cabin Fever!

What do you do when you have been snowed in for days and are getting a twinge of cabin fever? You do whatever it takes to keep your one-year old entertained and yourself sane!

Start assembling toys that may or may not have been planned xmas gifts.

Or don't assemble them...the kid loves to play on the "parts."

"Mommy, why can't we go outside?"

"Because, Son, the snow is 3 ft deep and it's butt-ass cold."

A view from what should be our driveway.

I'll just dance on the slide.

"I want out of here!!!!!"

Vaccuuming can be entertaining...

So is playing in a box...

Destroying the box is even better!

Arctic Blast 2008

Our first snow in Hood River!
Let's get out and play!

A trash can lid makes the perfect sled in a pinch.

Weee!!!

Huckleberry having a ball. Happy dog.

Daddy having fun too. Me...I can barely move with all this crap on!

Getting ready to go cross-country skiing around the neighborhood.

A view of our house. Look at me - I look incredibly comfortable, don't I? Not!

Crazy dog

Visiting our neighbor, Cosmo.

A sunny, snowy day. Winter Wonderland.

And then the snow kept coming (you can barely see the bench in the trees)...

Huck loved it...until all his tennis balls were lost in the snow.

More snow. At this point Mommy, Huck and I have been trapped in the house for two or three days (it's all a blur), while Daddy is trapped in Portland. Luckily, it was pretty.

A view of our neighbor's house. Pretty, but a heck of a lot of snow!

Where's the path to our house? The tractor just dug a path for us yesterday.

I don't think we'll be leaving the house today, either... :-(
